What features will be in 3.0 vs 2.0? Can we see share comparing what will be available side by side?
After careful review, we’ve decided not to build several legacy features in 3.0. This includes wall posts, user widgets, live chat, wall configuration, the search box widget, and the user login widget. These features are being phased out as alternatives are in place or improved through integrations—for example, live chat functionality will eventually come via integration with Microsoft Teams. We are currently creating a comparison sheet and will send it out when it becomes available.
Will we need to rebuild our intranet from scratch when moving to 3.0, or will existing content and apps carry over?
There will be an automated mapping of data during migration; however, some manual adjustments might be needed—for example, to fine-tune the theme or overall look. We’re working on streamlining this process to ease the transition. However, users can choose a complete complete rebuild of the site based on their preferences or requirements.
Can we choose to start again without migrating our data?
Yes, you can choose to start from scratch and build your intranet anew if that better suits your needs. This option gives you flexibility to design your solution without any legacy constraints.
What is the process to migrate to IC3 if the same site is being moved to the DMZ.
Being on-premises won’t be a blocker. We are able to support migrations from both on-prem and cloud environments.
Will will happen to IC 2.0? Is 16.5.2 the last version and will it eventually stop being supported?
We anticipate support for a few years for 2.0 and to continue to make improvements on 2.0 for the foreseeable future. We have multi-year commitments to customers to do that and we recognize the value the product is delivering today.
How will our Intranet URL change with the switch to IC 3.0
The user decides on the URL configuration. If you plan to run IC2.0 and IC3.0 simultaneously, you will need two separate URLs.
However, if you are doing a full cutover to IC3.0, you can choose to use the same URL.
Will links to documents stay the same?
Yes, links to documents will stay the same. The migration process will handle redirection for both internal and external links.

What LLM is used for the Omnicraft Ai and how is that model trained?*
The LLM, we are using is GPT 4o-mini for generative AI (omni-craft) for search. It's configurable, but 4o-mini is still our cloud recommendation.
We use pre-trained standard models, so your data will not be used for training, or any direct/indirect model improvement
What is the pricing for 3.0 for existing customers?
IC 3.0 is available for those active on maintenance currently at no added cost! We have a motto, “give to get” and aim to prove additional value for you first and foremost. Some additional costs may come later for advanced features (eg. further AI integrations) but is yet to be determined and will depend on their ongoing costs to deliver.
No significant increases to base annual maintenance in 2026 are planned.
