How is our data isolated from other tenants? Could another organization access our information?
Each tenant runs in a logically isolated environment with separate databases, storage spaces, and authentication scopes. No tenant can access another tenant’s data. Security boundaries are enforced at both the application and infrastructure level.
It looks like there is no dedicated circuit or VPN connection. Is the environment still secure?
Traffic is encrypted end to end using HTTPS/TLS. The environment uses Azure’s secure public endpoint model with strict authentication controls. A VPN is not required, similar to other modern SaaS systems.
Where exactly is the environment hosted?
The environment is hosted in Microsoft Azure within North America. Exact region details can be provided as needed.
Is traffic encrypted? Is data encrypted at rest?
Yes. All traffic uses TLS, and all storage uses Azure’s encrypted at rest mechanisms.
Will the cloud be slower than an on prem server?
Azure cloud performance is typically equal or better than on-prem environments. While this could depend on the size of your organizations, for a multi branch organization cloud hosting can actually be better and faster than on premise.
